Media Dynamics Training Approved for CEDIA CEU Credits

Thornhill, Ontario, Nov 2005: Media Dynamics, the industry dedicated training school for custom electronics and home theater installers in North America has been awarded CEU granting status by the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA). Students of the intensive hands-on apprenticeship style program will receive continuing education units (CEU's) toward their next level of CEDIA certification upon completion. The 3 week, three-phase program is designed to improve the skills of pre-wire and basic trim-out installation technicians, and in addition, eligible graduates have the option to complete the CEDIA Installer 1 industry certification exam at the conclusion of the program.

The company joins the ranks of CEU training providers at the top of the award range along with AMX and Panasonic, which offer the only other training programs to grant 10 CE units. "We are thrilled to be able to provide one-third of the CEU requirements for installers working toward higher CEDIA certifications" commented Derek Lee, President of parent company Mobile Dynamics Corporation. "Not only do our grads leave with a CEDIA Level 1 skill set, but are also well on their way to achieving Level 2."

Media Dynamics plans to launch its next training program, which will build on the existing skills of field technicians with higher levels of experience to prepare them for the CEDIA Level 2 certification. Its current mandate for the CEU approved program is to "deliver training to the industry resulting in accelerated employer payback potential". Over the past 4 years of operation, the company's instructional staff has regularly updated its curriculum to be as industry current as possible. Graduates have been successful due to the extremely focused retail and custom electronics nature of the training.

Sencore LCD Display Seminar

Sencore will be conducting its LCD display devices calibration training for one day at the Mobile Dynamics East campus. This event is recognized as advanced skills training for grads of the Media Dynamics Home Theater Installation programs conducted at this facility. Mobile Dynamics grads will also find this to be a valuable course for optimizing in-car video display performance.
